We were in attendance last week in Toronto when Ontario based insurer Gore Mutual announced three new initiatives intended to add value to our clients and modernize their insurance experience.
Gore's new initiatives affect both their personal and commercial insurance offerings and are as follows:
- Digital Pink Slip: As digital proof of insurance was recently approved by the provincial government, Gore is leading the pack with a universal digital pink slip that will be available for download to your mobile device. This is expected to be available in the latter part of the year.
- Padlock Cyber Coverage: Gore will now offer "Padlock", a comprehensive cyber and data breach product available for small businesses. This product is designed to respond to an increasing demand for cyber products as attacks and breaches increase.
- Fibaro Flood Sensor: Gore has partnered with Fibaro, a home automation company based in Poland to offer flood sensors available for homes and businesses designed to help mitigate risk and reduce the chance of a significant water damage claim. This will be available at a later date to select personal and commercial customers.
We will be informing our Gore Mutual clients as these products become available in order to enhance your insurance experience. If you have any questions about these new initiatives, feel free to contact our office.
